Indeed, HHW - Indeed. Don't want f**ing Bromley coming up although ...

... 5 games, 5 wins for them so far :-((

Yes I seem to remember you saying that on here after the game. I must admit I left that Bromley match with churned up emotions so well done you for stepping away from the shock we'd all just seen and doing the right thing.

And I was only kidding about there being any trouble at Eastbourne :-) I can't be there on Saturday but am going tomorrow night to make up for it - was a great night last year at Research & Development.

Triggerfish.... i always seem to miss any rowdy situations?? The only ones i have seen was Wallingford, Coney Hall and a time when i felt ashamed and gave a fellow supporter a mouthful because he started on a grandad who had a child with him at Bromley! He was screaming at this grandad that he should be ashamed to bring a child to support Bromley and was well ott.

But with the Premier League and Sky you get the chance to discover live whether Chavski can actually overcome the likes of West Brom and Wigan. I mean these matches can go either way can't they?

Lee - fair enough. I don't hate Palace, but their 'scum' fan element is more to do with the part of the world they're in. Bromley, Millwall, Palace, Gillingham, Charlton, Welling. Scumbag central

I can confirm that the leaves are still on the trees. A Finn was on the scoresheet for Bromley last night. This reads like an AFCW Old Boys reunion match [ Link ]

Well, that picture of Shipperley is scarcely recognisable from the guy who I saw score the winner for us at West Brom!

West Brom frought Nicky Shorey from Villa today for £750k (rising to £1.5m). Maybe that was why he quit?

treebs - well, we'll just have to agree to disagree. when it comes to clubs, i tend to let my experience of their fans to determine what i think of a club - hence i quite like arsenal, wednesday, west brom, essex, but have no affection for tottenham, sheffield united, aston villa or surrey. ;D hark back to incidents in the past all you like, in the here and now, wednesday are welcoming, united are repellent.

and as far as the disaster, i live not far at all from the memorial gardens, the fans memeorial and the club memorial - it is a long way from ignored by the current administration, but what do you want them to do? flay themselves in public?

Bromley appear to be his most recent.

AS - Harrison Dunk (now highly-rated at Bromley) was another young left back with us a while ago too. But then we had Chris Hussey at the time - so you win some you lose some I guess....

HT Casuals 1 Dons 4 - Jones (pen), Gregory, Sam-Yorke (triallist from Woking) with 2. S-Y's second goal was apparently scored when Casuals weren't ready after a stoppage and so we allowed Casuals to walk a goal in to make it 4-1.

Interesting interview with Richard Butler in the NLP - saying that Bromley offered him double what he was on at Staines, but the money ran out so he's now back at Staines. One thing I wasn't sure about though, he talks about teaming up with Elloitt Godfrey again after their time together at Wimbledon - I thought little Butts left well before Godfrey turned up?
